Abstract
In Greater Noida's peri-urban villages like Girdharpur, despite widespread smartphone access, the adoption patterns reveal significant gender disparities and skill deficits not captured in pan-India studies. This research specifically focuses on smartphones due to its wide and easy access in today’s world. The penetration of reel culture, Youtube-learning and OTT was visibly seen in the village of Rouni, Girdharpur. This study aimed to understand and address how rural communities, particularly women and youth, adopt digital technologies despite socio-cultural barriers.
