About the Author

Dr. Rajashree Sharma Adhikary currently serves as Associate Professor at Sharda University and has over a decade of experience in media, broadcasting, and academics. She holds a Ph.D. in Mass Communication from Assam University. She has worked with All India Radio and Doordarshan under Prasar Bharati as a broadcaster and communication professional. Her academic and research interests include Media Psychology, Media Management, Electronic Media, audience behaviour, digital media influence, media literacy, and communication for social development. She has published research papers in national and international journals and has presented papers at various academic conferences. She has also been associated with NGOs engaged in community welfare activities and with National Institute of Open Schooling as a Lesson Writer. 

Dr. Mukta Martolia is a Doctorate in Mass Communication from Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal. With an experience of more than 17 years in industry and academia Dr. Mukta is awarded with ‘The Best Media Educator of the Year’ during the 15th Media Excellence Awards 2021 from the Media Federation of India. Dr. Mukta has close associations with many national, international media organizations and academic institutions. Her research interest lies in Intercultural communication, health communication, media society and media psychology, advertising and new media.
