Everyone agrees that health is a basic human right and a vital component of social and economic advancement. Increasing life expectancy, lowering poverty, and attaining sustainable development all depend on having access to reasonably priced, high-quality healthcare. However, inequalities between urban and rural areas persist despite notable advancements in India's healthcare system. Inadequate healthcare infrastructure, a lack of skilled medical experts, low health awareness, inadequate transportation, and excessive out-of-pocket healthcare costs are some of the issues that rural residents frequently encounter. Economically disadvantaged households are disproportionately impacted by these obstacles, which push many families into poverty as a result of medical costs.
