Confluence of Perspectives: Essays in Leadership, Management, and Society is the
culmination of the Executive MBA Capstone journey of the Batch 2024–2026. Over
several months, participants immersed themselves in identifying organizational
challenges, reviewing literature, collecting evidence, analysing data, and drawing
insights that are both academically sound and professionally relevant. The result is
a collection of essays that reflects not only intellectual discipline but also the
richness of diverse professional experiences.

About the Author

Abhinanda Bhattacharya is an academician and HR leader with over fifteen years of
combined experience in industry and academia. As an Assistant Professor at the
Sharda School of Business Studies, she actively strengthens industry–academia
collaboration through corporate training, industry visits, guest lectures, MOUs, and
employability-driven initiatives. Known for her pedagogical approach that blends
practical insights with conceptual learning, she encourages students to think
critically, connect theory with real-world applications, and develop workplacerelevant
competencies. Her professional journey spans diverse roles in corporate
HR, organizational development, talent management, and behavioural training,
enriching her work as an educator and editor. Her academic interests include
employability, cultural intelligence, grit, human resource management,
organizational behaviour, and contemporary developments in management
education.

Dr. Ruchi Jain Garg is Professor of Marketing and Head, Department of
Management, Sharda School of Business Studies, Sharda University, Greater Noida,
with over 20 years of experience in academia, research, accreditation, and
professional training. She holds a PhD from IIT Roorkee and has played key
leadership roles in academic administration, including Head of Department,
Programme Director, and Coordinator. An expert in Outcome-Based Education and
quality assurance, she successfully led the NBA accreditation of the MBA
programme and has contributed extensively to NAAC and IQAC initiatives. With over
40 publications in reputed international journals, guidance of PhD scholars, patents,
copyrights, and participation in UNDP and World Bank-funded projects, she is
actively engaged in advancing research and higher education quality. She is also a
sought-after resource person, conference convener, and consultant for NBA
accreditation, dedicated to developing ethical, innovative, and socially responsible
future leaders.
