Over seven decades, the Central Cottage Industries Corporation (CCIC) has
embodied the guardian spirit of Indian aesthetics. However, as at 2026, the CCIC has
reached a Systemic Inflection Point. Alienated from modern consumers, saddled
with legacy debt obligations, and still following outdated retail principles, CCIC finds
its relevance challenged. Project Renaissance marks the beginning of a 180-day
radical surgery meant to help CCIC transition from being just another "Government
Emporium" to a globally-recognized "Phygital Luxury Atelier."
