Behavioural Intervention Training for Agra Police – An Action Research Study

The training on behavioral intervention provides a systematic approach to these
challenges by actively developing interpersonal and intrapersonal skills of officers
through the experiential learning process, which consists of reflection and practice.
One such programmed, based on an Individual-Family-Organization (IFO) approach
and using such tools as Johari Window, KAP (Knowledge-Attitude-Practice) model,
POLCA and NLP-based communication strategies, is the Behavioral Intervention
Training Program organized by Hindustan Institute of Management and Computer
Studies (HIMCS) under the mentorship of Prof Naveen Gupta among officers of the
Agra Police Commissionerate. Since, the programmed both, implies change and, at
the same time, it also, systematically, examines the change in context, the
programmed is well suited to be conceptualized as an action research project
